The First Blog
This is my first ever blog and I'm a bit nervous so better just get on with it I guess! We have just eaten leftover seafood rosti, steamed asparagus and a white wine sauce, followed by fresh strawberries and I got to thinking...does everyone eat like this on a Saturday night in New Zealand? Our two boys certainly think this is the 'norm', so God help their partners when they are older!! Of course, they will have been taught to cook by Dad (a professional chef) so maybe their partners will think they have a real catch...?

This blog makes me hungry - I am so glad that Jonno's Dad wasn't a chef as his expectations of my cooking aren't that high... although there is no way I could compete with his mum's baking.
